Is a situation that feels like an emergency really an emergency?
A chapter from my forthcoming book

Greetings Friends! Below is the first draft of the first chapter of my forthcoming book!!
The book is called How It Feels to Be a Millionaire (and 11 More Mindset Games for Fun and Profit).
I am a coach, have been for many years now. Helping clients feel motivated and able to enjoy doing the things that will help them get where they wish to be is essential to this work.
That's the focus of this forthcoming book – games that we can play to shift our mindset, shift our experience, and enjoy life.
THANK YOU for your support as I share out these first pages for the first time. It means a lot to have you along on the ride!
This month's chapter is called Champagne Sailing: a Game for Understanding What’s Really Happening (and How That Might Be Different Than What Our Brain THINKS is Happening).
I've played this game both with one-to-one clients and also in groups and workshops. So some of you are seeing it, not for the first time!
It’s great for helping us determine what the conditions are actually around us.
For example, is a situation that feels like an emergency really an emergency?
It's helpful for slowing down and understanding what's really happening, so we can choose how to respond instead of defaulting to a knee-jerk reaction.
This month's chapter is just below! It helped me cope yesterday, when something unusual and with the potential for serious harm happened out on my walk.
Hope you enjoy!
Cheers and much love,
Kay
